Does an AI receptionist book appointments?
Guident Phone does not book. It takes an appointment request with the caller's name, number and reason, and your team confirms each one, so nothing lands on your schedule unchecked.
Some AI receptionists write straight into the practice schedule. That saves a step, and it can collide with a change your front desk is making at the same moment. We chose the other tradeoff on purpose: your schedule stays yours.
What you get instead is a request your team can act on. The Today screen lists the requests that need the office, with a short script for each callback. Spanish calls work too.
It never guesses at a price or a coverage answer. If it does not know, it says so and takes the question for your team.
